Up above the skies

Yesterday night, I was sitting on the bench, in the plaza of Quezon City Hall. I was a bit tired walking from Munoz market gathering some vegetables to have something to eat the next day. My attention was wandering from place to place. Then I looked up the sky. It was dark, the moon was small up above, a bit obscured by a patch of clouds.

Every time, I look up the heaven, like anybody else, God will always flash into my mind. Is He up there looking at me and listening to my heart, my needs and my fear and anxiety at the moment. A few distance from me, is the park. I said today is Sunday, multitude of people are there. Thus God care what happen to these people? Their joys and sorrows? Their longings?

Then my mind started to focus deep into space, into the vastness up above. Doing this will always trigger my mind to think about the world and its mystery, giving me a sense of being part of something majestic – uncommon, but wonderful. It kindles within me the hope of something good out there coming towards me.

God is a mystery, unfathomable. The force behind the creation of all things. Anything we can’t see but feel its essence and effect are mysterious. But, still, we concede that they are real.

God is real, for if He isn’t, it is unthinkable that in this modern era, people still have to believe of His existence. God has built within our hearts the longing for Him.

Even if we don’t see God, whatever is happening to us, we should trust that He will take care of everything, for our own good. There might be times that He gives us a lesson to learn, such as trying situations. But if we keep on thinking of His presence, things will just become lighter, bearable. And this will eventually become your source of inspiration that there’s really a God that guides and helps us along the way.

The Tail– dive to unknown waters

DSCN0512  This is one of my spontaneous paintings. This is not a realistic one. This one undergoes a lot changes before it turned out like this. The process is frustrating to others since it takes time sometimes before I can come up with a meaningful image.

In this blog, I am using Windows Live Writer. It is so easy sending a blog to my various blogging account. Like this one, I send this same blog to my other blog accounts. I am so excited!

This is the time -- the revelation -- my story

It's for quite a long time that I have kept some of my experiences for myself. I have only told them to a few people. Now I think is the time that I will share them to the public. You might think that they are simply stupidity and don't have value -- nonsense. Think whatever you want to think, of course, you are free to do it. However, for me they are a source of encouragement, a medium where hope and ambition will flourish in my heart and enlightened my mind to such possibilities.

In 2003, I had a vision. It was noon time, I was sleeping in my little room alone. When I woke up, the room was dark. I looked around me, my eyes were caught by a faint light seemed to be coming from the latch of the door. I stared at it for a moment. To my amazement, slowly, it grows longer and longer. As it grows, it shows different shining colours. The thing resembles a thick rope, and the strands near its end were loosed and keep on moving in any direction, like a bunch of snakes. The strands themselves were composed of vivid light in various colours. The whole thing was surrounded with a hollow-like glowing light in different hues. It was restless, while lengthening itself. I was shocked, I couldn't move. Like a dog's tail, the loosed endings that looks like the head, veered to my direction trying to reach me. For the second time, as the snake-like thing flung itself to grab me, I lost control, I shivered with uncontrollable fright, then the apparition disappeared. If it hadn't, I might have collapsed or go insane.

Well, no one could explain to me exactly what it means. Individuals, who claim to know mysteries have different versions. Months later, though, I would be ushered to a certain organization that would make my hair stand on its end. Why? Because, there foundation day was my birthday. Coincidence? I don't know. What's more, they told me something that I didn't want to believe. For who am I to be the person whom they said I am or I will be. But as look at the circumstances of where my life is leading me perhaps they are right. And here it is: I might be stupid to believe it, but if it's worthwhile to be stupid just to make things happen, I will dare do it.

I was there sitting. Apparently, my friend who invited me there had told them already the vision that I had. A few moments later, I was asked to go on the flat form to share what I had seen to the members attending the meeting. With a microphone in hand I went to tell them with excitement my story.

Later, as I was on my seat again, I was asked for the second time to come to the stage for they have something to tell me. What I heard at that time seemed like I was part of a character in a movie show that my logical mind doesn't want to believe. All I could rationalize was that these people were tricking me so I would be part of their organization. Who could have believe it when they told me that "I am the bearer of light." For me, at that time it was totally, silly. Even now, I am still doubtful of what they told me. However, if it will really happen to me that I can enlighten and help people with their problems, well, there's no way of escaping it. Anyway, time will tell. At the moment, I am just a very ordinary personal, without extraordinary talents that could attract people's attention. Only, that I am experiencing strange phenomenon.

Then my vision was followed by a vivid dream. In my dream, I was walking in a well-paved and spacious place. I was feeling grand self-assured and at my best, with my chin up like I was a noble man or a military, perhaps. I saw all around me, a battalion of guards, so many, they are all protecting me in all direction. Seeing this one, I suddenly realized who I was, so I said to myself, oh! So this the feeling of being a president. The sensation was really so elevated, I was so pleased and ecstatic, for it means achievement.

Later, in my dream, I was alone. Then, I found myself holding the pendant of the necklace hanging around my neck. The pendant is an emblem, which symbolizes my status as the president. Looking at it, I was in deep thought, I was thinking how can I improve the pendant's design to really represent my leadership as head of a country, then I woke up.

When I woke up, it was not difficult for me to recall what took place in that dream since it was so vivid, like real. Although it was just a dream, but I just couldn't comprehend why I happened to dream like that. At that time, my mentality was so simple. I was not aiming for high position in the society. But why I had that kind of dream?

How I was found on the Net by my niece and my returned to the province in the right time despite problems that would supposedly hinder my travel is quite of a story also. And how I was engaged in painting and a lot more couldn’t just be put into the category of chance, there must a plan in all of these. I won’t be telling these stories here, what I will tell you instead is the visit of the most famous personality, a mentalist and world-known spoon bender, Uri Geller, an Israeli, and a friend of Michael Jackson, not in person, but in a dreamlike condition, while I was suffering a fever for a week. Here is how it happened:

Approximately, four months ago, I was living in a squatter area. My place is a squalid and rat infested room, where I could see dungs scattered on the floor every time I went home. Because of my financial status I was still able to manage staying there for six months because of its cheap rental of one thousand pesos only.

However, after I arrived from the province I moved to a cleaner place, though still a squatter area. My room has its own toilet, which I like. The rental of course is a little bit higher, considering the fact that I don’t have a job yet. The second day of my stay in this new place, I started to feel bad, my temperature went high, and I was losing my appetite for food. For a week I suffered that ailment. One night, while I was delirious, I can’t sleep, my mind kept on wandering, creating stories and sceneries in a dream-like manner – perhaps it was what they called hallucination. It was in this state that Uri Geller appeared to me. In that state of my mind, Uri talked to me. He told me something, after that, he went away. When I was well again and pretty much awake that night, I couldn’t recall anymore what Uri has said to me. Because it appeared that he was instructing me of something.

The next day, I went to the park together with a friend. We passed by an acquaintance and have conversation with him for a while. This guy took out a fork from a plastic bag. My friend seeing the fork asks that guy to give it to me, so I could have something to use at home. In that instant, I thought of Uri Geller and his appearance the night before. I just couldn’t believe it. Is it a coincidence? Oh! Know not. There might be something in it.

Because, I couldn’t contain my emotion, I sent an email to Uri. The next day, I got a response, and I was so honoured that someone as famous as him could still have the time to response to my email, personally. The email said it’s coming from his Black Berry.

I first know Uri Geller from the books written about Michael Jackson. My other source also is a book published on an experiment done on him in controlled laboratory settings in the United States. Later, I got to know him more on the Internet. The last video I watched of him, before his appearance in my hallucination, was an interview of him on vfm.33, an FM station in Greece.

This is the response of Uri sent to my email:

I am so excited thinking what will happen next. Every now and then, I am comforted with encouraging dreams of courage and achievements that could only be categorized as Miracles: achievements that could only be possible through an intervention from God. At this moment in my life, I am learning to pray, really talking to God, in whatever form possible. There will be time in our lives that someone will come to our orbit to teach us something. And that was what happened to me. I was only thankful that I became humble enough to learn something. Normally, by nature, I am not a very emotional person, I am not moved, cry, or feel a very strong emotion easily as I have seen mostly in most people around me. But just a month ago, I had this dream that I was traversing a field of greenery. It was a huge and open area. I could see far in the distance, a chain of mountains surrounding the place. It was a fantastic sight. I admired it so much. Though the scenery was a tremendous sight, I was not walking there without pain. I felt a strong cold wind blowing on my body and I had this sorrow so deep, that I sobbed in a way that I felt I was dying. It seemed all my guts would fall out. I was out of breath, my body, my spirit and soul -- every atom of my existence was shook to its very foundation. I was in a deepest emotional state of sorrow, imploring God to help me. The sensation was so strong that words can’t almost describe my need of help from God. Flowing from my mouth were the words: God, p l e a s e help me!!!!!!! P l e a s e help me!!!!!!! P l e a s e help me!!!!!!! All over again, in utmost agony, humbleness and sincerity. Then out from nowhere, I saw the face of Manny Pacquiao. And then I realized how Manny could have been so thankful to God, and could have felt the way I feel. Still, I braved the strong wind and continued on my way crying in total exhaustion. By the time I woke up, I still felt the pain in my heart because of sorrow. I was in that condition for a little bit longer before I was able to recuperate.

When I was back to reality, I just don’t know how I could be so emotional like that in my life. It seemed like impossible for me to feel such deep emotion. In my day to day existence there are times that I sincerely ask God for assistance, especially when times got tough that seemed to offer no way out, but still, I just couldn’t have that feeling of complete reliance and sincerity coming from my heart and not from the mind, like that in my dream.

I believe that all of these things that have been happening to me have deep implication to my personality. Moreover, these occurrences are telling me something. How I wish I can understand them. I need wisdom. And true wisdom only comes from God. Before, when I was still lost in a world of despair, I tried to ignore the presence of God, for He was not helping me after all, I reasoned; my life was a misery. Even though I was always hearing that sentiment from people who have undergone difficulties, but still the same, I was acting in the same manner.

My views has drastically changed when God gives me the opportunity to feel how it is when you are calm and have more control of the mind’s activity to achieve deep calmness that my outlook in life changed. In this changed state, I saw the goodness of God in almost every situation I was in. There are still sorrows, troubles and heated moments, but they are more controllable than before.

Whatever the outcome of my life, time will tell. If God wants me to share something of importance to all, then I am happy to take the challenge, but if all is just my imagination and not coming from God I can’t make a difference in this life. The stories of my life that I once thought to be of value to all will be lost forever. For the moment that I still have the courage and will to do what’s in my heart, I’ll better go for it.

In my writing this blog, I am in a state of financial trouble that would probably send me to the streets again. This condition is also the mean reason that goads me to write these stories you are reading now to attract people’s attention to support me. Hoping that people might be convinced, and will listen to me that there might be something worthy out of my life after all. Of course, nobody knows what will happen next, but I am optimistic.

Right now, I am here in a frenzy writing blogs and creating new concepts or just writing my thoughts in my computer. I am so thankful to God that I have this computer. But you know? I have eliminated two viruses already: two while I was on the Net and another two in my flash drive. It’s good I was clever enough to scan it first before attempting to use it to speed up my computer.

Now, I am beginning to learn. I know, I’ve got a lesson. I am ready to accept what will happen to my life. But, if there is a way to implore God to make my life fruitful for the good of all, I will do it wholeheartedly. And day by day, I am humbling myself down and asked God’s direction. But if it is His will for me to pass in this world unnoticed then that is it.

The longing for recognition is a human nature. We all want to be recognized one way or another. And there’s nothing wrong about this, as long as it is in moderation, just within limit. Exuberance is bad and can destroy us being human and can turn anybody into a beastly nature. We should harbour the art of Acceptance and that means humbleness. It shows us the way to being obedient to God’s plan for us.

I will end this blog for the moment with the words: God’s will, will be done and have trust that His will is for our own good, for He knows everything. Who are we to argue when we don’t know anything at all about the future.

Soon, I will be telling these experiences in video form.

This blog will be continued.

Difficulty can open doors

Yesterday, when I found out that the money from the province won't arrive in the expected time. I was moved to post in my facebook account a message asking help from anybody. Everything seemed to be out of control who else I can turned to. Then, it dawned on me to send a text to one of my brothers to borrow 500 pesos for the second time. Wow! To my joy he agreed. The money will be send today.
At the moment, I am already here inside the mall waiting. While waiting, I composed this blog that you are reading now.

Everything is not easy at all. What is left in my wallet is a lone 1.00 peso and 10 cents. I am one of the poorest individuals at the moment. Never mind, I don't care. As long as I can continue writing and posting it on the Internet. Lots of thrills.

I need 20 pesos to get the money that my brother will send. So I passed by one of my friends and asked. But now, there was still a problem, it was still about 11 am., and the money will be send around 3:00  pm and I am hungry already. By twelve, I was almost going to collapse. Well, I am pretty clever in situations like this. There was no choice, I have to ask for food. I approached a man tending a sidewalk store, and told him that I needed food. I was only fortunate that he is kind, he scooped some rice and put it inside a plastic bag and handed it to me. I was really so thankful to him and of course to God that He let the heart of this man symphatetic with my condition. Before leaving, I still asked for another favor, some sauce to go with my rice. Because I was so hungry, I ate the rice while walking. After I drank water, I was once again fine and strong as ever.

Everything that seemed to be no solution is actually a misconception, for how many times you and me have been into a dilemma so difficult, but as time goes buy it will be solved by itself. But, why is it that we seemed to be not learning at all that each time a problem will surface there is a corresponding remedy for it. Even me, every time I will be wallowing in situations that seemed to offer no way out, I will still  be troubled. When in fact I know, what it's all about. The answer is that we still have doubts in our hearts if we are acting this way.

However, now, I am trying to learn, little by little, which offers me more room for a peaceful mind and controlled emotion. And of course a happier life.

Not too long ago, some one asked me, if I am happy with my life? I told him yes, I am happy. Ah, it's because you have a computer and a place to stay. The one who was asking is my friend who I met when I was still wandering on the streets. A better condition, of course, can add to your happiness. In my case, when I met this friend, I already found at that time the calmness of my spirit even I was in a situation where most of us don't like. That is why when I told him that even without all the things I am enjoying now I will still be happy. He didn't believe me. But in my heart I know I will still be happy.

I would just say, by a stroke of luck, now I've got a computer. I believe it's a cosmic plan so I can tell my stories, experiences and ideas to the whole world. I've got a story to tell and this motivates me.

It's a great pleasure to me that I can write my ideas and share it on the net when I feel like doing it. Soon, I will be also writing a kind of little books to pour my views in life. There's so much things to do. The only thing that I am waiting is the support and the energy that will make things possible. I know that in the right time all will be established.

This is what I like, I am just waiting here and here I am, writing my ideas to share with you in a minute. The power of technology. How nice it is to write without much thinking like spontaneous, no so much editing; the words, concepts just flow smoothly to my mind -- the experience is really great. I want to be always like this. It's really wonderful. It's almost extra terrestrial; good for the spirit. Ok. I will be posting now what I have written for you. Have a nice day!

I need your help!

Today I eat my last bread. Am I nervous? A little bit. The money I expected from the province won’t arrive. Oh no! I will be dead.  Not exactly. I will do what I can to feed myself and pay my boarding house. I am not expecting this tragedy, but anyway, it’s happening. Like before, I will be pushed to do the things that normally I won’t be doing or find it too hard or reluctant to do. I will continue my projects. I will go headlong and speak  my knowledge and ideas to people to earn. This is really a crucial moment in my life, I am asking help from you. A little amount you send to my Gcash account -- 09064303379  Globe  --  is a great help to me. Below are information to send Gcash.

My Book, "from Darkness to the LIght"

Here’s my book, " From Darkness to the Light ". I originally created this one using Microsoft Windows 98. Because of software incompatibility the format of the uploaded file has been altered a bit, resulting to some words being covered or even scattered up, due to the misalignment of the design.

NOTE ABOUT THE BOOK:

“from Darkness to the Light” is a 310-page book. It contains 2 parts and arranged into 25 chapters. I did the page layout and cover design myself, which is equally a challenging experience for me. This uploaded version however, only presents the first three chapters of the said book for promotional purposes and to gain feedback from readers and critics alike. Thus, if you have any idea which can lead to the publication of this work or a helpful suggestion for its improvement, I am very much eager to hear from you.

Aside from introducing my personal story, which I deemed relevant for inclusion, the book points out and teaches how we can take hold of that illusive Peace of Mind, which is the only tool we need to solve whatever problems we have to be happy and successful in life. Have I not found Peace, Happiness and Success in my life, I wouldn’t have written this book.

For a very long time, I was consumed with hatred, and self-pity caused by failures that I wanted to believe that God doesn’t care, but as I was already into writing this book and until now, I see the power of circumstances - miracles, big and small - leading and helping me to do the things that normally I wouldn’t have done.

Back then, although I had this idea of writing a book, but I was doubtful of its feasibility since I didn't have a computer to aid me in the writing process, which I am not used to. No matter how I figured it out, I couldn't resolve the issue of having a computer. So when I finally decided to start even without one, I was there in front of a piece of paper drudgingly writing my ideas on it. A few hours that same day, out from nowhere, a friend of mine came bringing a computer. I asked him if I could borrow it, right away, he agreed. Now, was it a coincidence? Oh no, absolutely not - it was designed that way, I believe. This story is just one of the many strange and unexplainable occurrences surrounding the making of the book, "from Darkness to the Light," that I can only call them Miracles.

Because of my experiences, burning in my heart is the desire to tell my story of the goodness of God through my experiences, for God is, in fact, guiding and caring for us all the way of our lives.

Please support this book.

Even with hardships, thanks God, I am now on business

Sorry, it took me a long time to add a post to my blog, since the Multi Media section of the public library where I used to access the Internet was temporarily closed and has been opened just recently.

Many unexpected things had taken place already, since my last post, like the day I graduated in an Art workshop (advance 1) with a trophy for being one of the outstanding students, and a medal for best in homework. Though many have received such token of recognition, still I am very much pleased with them -- they encouraged me even more.

I am, indeed, very thankful to my professor, Fernando B. Sena for helping me develop my skill in painting, which is a totally new field to me.

Thanks God, at the moment I am now on business, selling my paintings. I am even bold enough to accept portrait painting from clients using photos.

I have just started this endeavor and I am just earning too little, but the condition has never diminished my desire to pursue this newly found skill in art.

Last night, I am instructed in a dream to continue painting; when I woke up I was even more determine than ever to hone my painting skill; I believe that there is really something great awaiting for me.

Soon, I will be posting my paintings that are for sell in my blog: paintingforsell.blogspot.com

Adventure on the streets continues

Walking under the sweltering heat of noon, I felt the biting pain of summer, which one time registered at 35.8 degrees Celsius. Along the way, I met and talked to many wonderful people already. From them, I heard comments that boosted my will to continue what I am working on.

By coincidence, my wanderings have brought me to attend and be accepted in an Art workshop for free - I am just too lucky -- the professor is super kind. I had my first lesson in "sketching"; I found it not easy. When I arrived home; I employed the technique I learned to copy human faces. To my astonishment, almost all of my sketches have bear resemblance to the original. For me, this is fantastic!

Have I just experienced prejudice?

I have been traversing the campus of U.P. (University of the Philippines) several times and have been talking to some of their faculties, students, and security guards about my projects and my predicament -- they are all very helpful and kind. My experience at the Department of Mass Communication, however, is the exception. I was there yesterday; my third time, in fact. With much waiting and interrogation, finally, I convinced the security guard of my sanity. I know my position well; with a placard sticking at my back and thickening mustache on my face, I could easily put doubts on people's mind that could ruin my personality.

The permission granted on me led me to their Radio Station, DZUP. As I reached the building and was conversing with the security guard, I took off the placard at my back and carried it by hand; then I proceeded to the second floor where the media room was located. I turned the doorknob, it was locked. I asked a passers-by who looked like an employee, he told me it was break time. There was like a small lobby somewhere at the middle of the building, and three students were there talking to each other. I got their attention, and asked if I could sit down on the bench beside the two of them.

Looking directly at one of them, I proceeded to open a conversion. Then I found myself enthusiastically sharing my experiences on extreme peace of mind and the benefits I derived from them and, of course, my projects. They are such good listeners; I love them. Because of the time, they wished me good luck on my endeavors, and they left.

For the second time, I went again to the media room. By turning the knob several times, this time, it yielded. Pushing it forward wider, I stepped in; and there, I was faced with students, young ladies, staring in amazement towards me. At the farthest side, part of the area was partitioned into small cubicles open in one side, and I saw ladies in them. Almost at the center of the room was a huge table; sitting in front was a young lady too. In this setting, I was perplexed on who I will approach, since nobody was saying a thing. I noticed there was an older woman, situated in the corner, in one of the cubicles; her eyes were also at me; it could be that she was the superior, but the fact that no words came out from her mouth, I was hesitant to come and talk to her. Because I don't know who I will talk to, I just talked to the lady nearest to me, and that was the lady in front of the huge table. I explained to her that I need help to have my own radio program because I don' t have money to buy time in a commercial radio station. Moreover, I added that I was referred by the school's Administrative Department, hoping something could be done to help me. When that older woman rose from her seat to listen more clearly what I was saying, I was already telling my experiences of this extreme peace of mind and my book manuscript. The young lady whom I was talking with told me that I should better speak to the professor but, unfortunately, the said professor was not there; so I said, I will wait.

Looking around, I spotted a chair by the wall; and that was where I seated myself. At that time the older lady went out the room, clearly disgusted with my presence. Few minutes, the security guard came in and asked me to go to another building (broadcasting building). On the way down, I explained that I was there already.

Treading the path out of the building, I saw in the distance the first security guard who interrogated me. I asked him why I was directed to the broadcast building. The words I heard were not answers but commands to go over to the distant buildings ahead; according to him, " to where your friends are (referring to the idiots roaming around the place)."

With an air of hard acceptance I said, Oh, I know already what it's all about! On the distance, by the road, I removed the placard at my back to get a bottle of water I slipped in one of my bag's pocket. I was about to drink when I noticed two youngsters were in front of me. I looked at their faces, I saw in their eyes the warmness of approval - so comforting. Their presence had given me added courage to believe on what I was doing. I was so happy relating to them what had happened. In return they showed a thumb up sign of utmost approval for my cause and left. They utter very few words - but their presence means a lot. I was curious with them.  They said they are Adrian and Rocky.

My road trek: a desperate effort, but a success

Walking on the streets with a placard sticking at the back might be a no-no option to most; when I did it however, unexpectedly, I managed to attract an audience to listen to my experiences: Some are professionals and others are just ordinary people. All my heart goes to those people I met on the way who gave me support in whatever way they can. People like them are few -- that's why, meeting them is a chance in a life time: I am very thankful and proud of you. These days, I am becoming more appreciable, that even with little things extended to me -- it means a lot already.

The way I looked must be very weird that on the way even children would ask me what I was doing. The common folks, like a jeepney driver for instance, was even so curious of me that while his vehicle was stationed by the roadside waiting for passengers he waved his hand and shouted questions at me.

I started my wandering on the streets and parks Feb. 22, 2010, that's more than a week ago. If I have not done this, I would never have found out that I could speak after all, which is, of course, a very surprising phenomenon for me. Surely, I know how I speak, because I had been speaking all my life; this time, though, I find myself strangely different - an almost completely different person. Of course, I am very happy with the positive changes I am enjoying now. These changes had triggered my desire even more to reach out more people to hear my stories of self-discovery; with the hope that what I learned and discovered can be passed on to others too.

I had already started the campaign for my cause -- a step so vital. I know, I am just barely scratching the surface; but, I am enthusiastic enough to pursue my cause no matter what - I am quite optimistic indeed.

Invitation to scientists and researchers: experiment on Muscle Pain and Relaxation

True to my words in the past, I am now sending invitation to different institutions around the globe asking them to conduct an experiment with me.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I am Mr. Anselmo Malugao, and I live here in the Philippines. My life was once full of failures causing sadness, worries, hatred, and loneliness to dominate my life. I didn't like how I felt, so I was like crazy looking for a way out through different methods. As I was already delving into self-experiments, I happened to stumble into a very simple Technique to acquire Total Peace of Mind repeatedly - not just by chance or random occurrence. The benefits I am experiencing now is beyond my expectation of what peace of mind can do to the body.
Before, I had this kind of nervousness that had always prevented me from doing what I ought to do. A nervousness so acute that a mere filling up of a form will cause my hands to tremble and send my heart to beat rapidly. Now that I am practicing a very simple technique I called "TMSHE" (Therapeutic Mind Stimulation of the Human Energy), I don't feel that kind of nervousness anymore. Now, I can write my name without that feeling of uneasiness and speak to people with confidence - things that I shied at before.
This Peace of Mind I am talking about is a condition of the mind that I can't find anywhere I will go. It seems absurd, but that's the truth. I am not the only person who has felt this one; but since I am one of those people, though few, who have experienced extreme peace of mind, I want also to tell my stories to the world.
It is not too long ago that I was overwhelmed with emotion on the positive effects my technique has on my body; and this convinced me that I have a very important message to share to the people and to the world at large.
Before, I am just a very ordinary person. However, after discovering this extreme peace of mind within me, daring projects came into my mind like writing a book, lectures, paintings, etc.
Right now, I am looking for a publisher locally and abroad. But since I am extremely poor that I can't even print a hard copy of my manuscript, it makes the submission of my manuscript impossible for the moment. One thing more, even if I can actually submit my manuscript to a publishing company, most likely, it will just end up being rejected - for the reason that I am nobody. Because I know that I am in a disadvantage position, desperately, I picked up a wooden board and scribbled this words, " I Found Peace - I Wrote a Book - I need a Publisher" -- slung it at my back and I went roaming around the streets. Luckily, as I opened my mouth to tell my stories, words just came flowing smoothly from my mouth. People were amazed with what I was saying and the manner I told them. It was understandable, because even me myself, I just can't fully understand how I was able to do it.
One thing very interesting with my condition is that I can't virtually feel muscle pain even with so much physical exertion. More or less a week ago, I drastically shifted from sedentary to actively walking for long hours on the streets and parks here in the Philippines - the result - no pain. You know, this is a pretty unnatural condition; normally, the body, especially the muscles, aren't behaving in this way. To prove that I am telling the truth I would like to demonstrate this one by conducting an experiment. I am very willing to undergo such a test to prove that I am telling the truth. I had proven it to myself while I was still working in a surplus warehouse. I trust that if I was able to do it before, I can also do it in an observed setting.
So I am earnestly calling this institution to conduct an experiment with me on how relaxation sooths muscle pain. I am very glad if this institution will find my experiences interesting and truthful. I believe that everybody can benefit on the success of this experiment, for it means the well-being of a person.

Letter to Philippine Normal University

Days after I have completed this letter I have second thoughts about the appropriateness of its content. In my life, unwittingly, I often follow intuition; the letter below is a product of such an impulse to tell - from the heart - without much restraint by reason.

The President
Philippine Normal University

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I had been a student of this school somewhere in 1997 or 1998. And that was while I was leaving [living] in the streets - a homeless - taking shelter inside an attic of a waiting shade in the plaza of Manila City Hall, near the flagpole. Getting into a university in this condition is an achievement already worthy of praise - and that was what I heard from people who have known me at that time. Life then was so difficult, especially that I didn't have what it takes to brave the circumstances I was facing. With an untoward twist of events, I decided to end my life. Fortunately, with the help of this school, I was coaxed to live a normal life again. Though I have not finished what I had started, I considered it a great experience, because it was through it that I was taken away from the streets. Then, I left Philippine Normal University, didn't know what to do with my life anymore.
My life is a story of failures - a life where I don't have the steering wheel in my hands. My world was always full of discouragement, worries, regrets, and hatred. Many things had been happening, as life pushed me from here to there; until one day, not too long ago, I discovered something -- Extreme Peace within me. This discovery changes everything: Ideas I never came up before came to my attention. These ideas resulted to my writing a book, which I am now trying to find a publisher. Aside from my book, that same Extreme Peace caused me to realize that I can paint; that is why, I am now promoting my Art Exhibit at home at the same time. I am also planning to have my own radio program in the AM band through sponsorship. When talking to people, I would usually find a way to inform them about it. My other project is to do motivational lectures, to share my experiences and knowledge and earned an income at the same time.
I have just started promoting my projects; and having started with nothing - I am still penniless at this time. Right now, I am pushed to do what I can do for my projects, when, unexpectedly, the owner of the place I am presently living asked me to vacate the place soon. I am given until the end of next Month; that is, until March 31, 2010. Before the deadline ends, I must find a way to secure a safe place for me, so I won't lose what I have been working very hard.
Aside from writing and visiting different institutions like schools, television and radio stations and publishing companies, I now began roaming around the streets of Metro Manila carrying a placard at my back announcing my need for a publisher to publish my book, while doing informal lectures on the streets -- sharing my knowledge to people. I also included my email address and Web site (blog): http://mindsecrethaven.blogspot.com for contact and information.
I am well aware that finding a publisher is not easy; because, the authority and status of the author play an important requirement for the acceptance of a work. Knowing that I am an unknown individual, I have to do my best to make a noise; and I will never stop until my voice will be heard; knowing I have a very important message to tell to all, which concerns our wellbeing. Without that astonishing transformation occurring in me, owing to that Extreme Peace, I will never be able to do what I have been doing these days.
Sir/Ma'am, how I like to share my experiences and knowledge to the students and staffs of Philippine Normal University, the school where I was once a student; please, give me the opportunity to conduct short motivational lectures inside the campus, for donation only. And if you have the means, in whatever way, to help any of my projects and my situation at the moment or perhaps, knows someone, I will be grateful for that.
I am cordially inviting you too, to visit this very rare Art Exhibit of mine. I am equally glad also if you can visit my Web site: http://mindsecrethaven.blogspot.com.

Sincerely yours,
Mr. Anselmo B. Malugao

Hitting the road

February 16, 2010, wearing a dark-blue overall, I started roaming the streets of Quezon City, near my place. Slung on my back was a placard with these words written on it: "I FOUND PEACE - I WROTE A BOOK - I NEED A PUBLISHER - http://mindsecrethaven.blogspot.com - and then my email."

The first few steps on the road were so awkward. In my head, I could almost hear the unwholesome comments from onlookers. Sure, I knew I could get over it. I was totally right, when later, I was already feeling all right -- lifted out from that uneasiness:I was becoming so proud that the curiosity of people looking at me had thrilled and exulted me instead. I saw myself no more an idiot, but a man with a purpose, courage, and determination. My first attempt was a success - I congratulated myself for it.

My action can be termed as a "desperate move." Yes! Because my projects are at stick. I don't want to lose them. Thanks, my decision is right - it give me a medium where I can have people's attention and converse with them; their response were very encouraging -- I am glad with it.

The placard gives emphasis on the publication of my book, since an Art Exhibit will hold lesser interest to most than a book. My Art Exhibit and other projects will always be there in the background.

Additional feature of my trek will include Counseling by the road -- based on my experiences -- for donation only. In this way, I can earn a little amount while travelling around.

I do hope, my activities will show the value of my book and finally gain attention to publishers.

The other day, I went to the University of the Philippines, UP. I visited the UP Press, the Administration Building, College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, the Dean's Office, and College of Mass Communication. I was there like pouring my heart and intention to them. Mostly, the people I met there have found my experiences and effort with sincerity. Oh, boy! They surprised me: their willingness to listen on what I have to say is absolutely very encouraging. I may or may not have the favors I asked from the University, the experience is already a proof that I have what it takes to push my plans ahead. The fact that there's no more uncontrollable nervousness plaguing me - I can already advance confidently and voice out the message I want to say.

Today, I will send an email to the President of Philippine Normal University; who knows, I can grab his attention to the importance of my projects.

The filling of application

Two days ago, that was Monday, January 10, 2010, I went to the Social Services Development Department as scheduled to file an application for a capital assistance for my little Art business. The aid is, actually, a grant, so no need for me to pay the amount, which is expected to be released this coming May 2010. Good if there won't be any problem like delayed release. Though I won't have to pay the amount of 3,000 pesos, but there will be a monitoring of my project. It's a good idea to minimize the chance of a person taking advantage of it by just doing nothing after receiving the amount.

At the moment, I felt comfortable to have done what I think needs to be done, and while waiting for that financial aid, I am already preparing to open my Art Exhibit to the public for a donation.

During the filling of the form, the question that gave me some moments before I was able to give the necessary information was about my food expenses. To be frank, for a month now, I barely spent money for my food. But if that is the case, how do I manage to stay alive? Too bad, the form won't accept explanation-it needs an amount. For water, electricity and the lot where I lived, I filled in "free." It couldn't be that for food, I would also say, "it's free." Well, I am indeed too fortunate, if someone has offered me that kindness. Because a normal person needs money to live I was forced to say 200 pesos a week, just to finish my application.

Back to the days when I was living on the streets and wanted to die, who could have thought that today I will be thinking of business, lectures, book publication, and websites. Although people are not proud of my present accomplishment-but it means a lot to me. If I am right with my conviction then what I have just started will branch out yet to greater fields of endeavor outside my present comprehension and capability. These days, I cherished the power of miracle and mystery-they endowed in me strength to go on from day to day.

We meet at last!

Last December 09, 2009 the field staff of DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development), Judith, and the staff of the Social Services Development, Lourdes, went over to my place. There We talked and tried to settle the matter. At first the field staff of DSWD seemed to be so composed with herself. I couldn't detect any distractions and worries from her demeanor. I was perperfectly right in insisting for her to come because we were able to express our feelings and there's time to reason out and ask questions. It appeared that nobody of them knows the real reason behind why they are there in my place. This was evident, when I told them that if I did not sent a complaint to Malacanang I am sure until now they wouldn' be here. "So that's the reason," she told me downheartedly. What followed is the asking of forgiveness, "if ever she made a mistake," Judith said. Well, I am very easy to forgive nowadays, and I learned not to keep grudges of any kind.

It was agreed that on the 2nd Monday of January, the next year, 2010, I will file my application for a grant, worth 3,000 pesos in the office of the Social Services Development Department. And Ma'am Lourdes Calomarde will be the one to attend to my application. However, what saddened me is the fact that the said amount is yet to be released on May the next year -- that will be almost half a year -- too long I think. Despite of this progress, I am already disgusted since it took me too long before everything is clear. I want to reiterate here, that I filed my application for a capital assistance last July of 2009; today is December 11, 2009; so it's, more or less, six months already. And even today, nothing has been processed yet -- I still have to wait for January 2010 for that. Then,  wait another five months for the released of the said fund. With all the hassles that accompanied the application 3,000 pesos is not really worth it. I hope the government will look deeper into this kind of time consuming and equally insufficient assistance program. Counting it all, from July 2009 to May 2010, it adds up to, approximately, eleven months -- tha's almost a year. Oh! What kind of aid is that.

News about my family and relatives: from my niece

Hi uncle,

Here are the revelation!

Uyang cellphone number (...)

first question that my father ask, "really its true that Oloy is that person you talk/communicate in the computer?"

hehehehe,

Actually a minute ago, uyang was calling me! confirming for the second time, about you!  Asking me, why are you not coming home!  She had lot of things to talk with you, and ask me to do so,  but i deserved to be quit until uyang would personally say it to you!

About uncle Ondoy, he is working at the Treasurers office in Labason Municipal Hall. They had 3 son.  Do you remember mac euan malugao, the eldest! he is also a blogger.  just find him on net.  he is very easy to search.

About my Education, I currently study at Saint Vincent College, Dipolog City.
In the years I stopped going to college that was 2003-2007.  I spent the years researching on internet until i learn to assemble and repair a computer.  I even design images and any graphics using adobe photoshop and Corel draw.

I am also interesting to learn computer programming, but as time goes by, a very good friend and best friend of mine advice me to finished my college, for he will picked me from Philippines to Dubai. That is why sometime she sent me a little pony of support.

But that was some two times, because she told me that she got no extra money.
Even without her support for these days, i am thankful for I will achieve my goal soon!

anyway,

uncle, if you have time please call my papa too, he told me. cell number (...)

And I have a request, please sent me your story its up to you where to start!

i will send you and email attachment (picture) at (...)

Take care,
(...)
-------------------------------

My response:

Wow! It's nice that you try your best to learn how to repair a computer. If in case you've got  a problem with your computer, you can save money by fixing it yourself and, of course, that kind of skill means extra income -- you are talented! Do you mean, you can fix a computer including the hardware? Or, just the software.

You said that Nanay (my mother) has so many questions already. Ha ha ha! Do you think I can answer them all? I hope so. For the moment, I will answer first the question as to why I didn't come home; because, this is very important. The reasons have to do with pride, ambition, and principle.

For a long time, my life had no direction, this is due to failures. This brought me too much embarassment. I preferred to be left alone on my own devices and see if I can make it. I was only fortunate that a couple of years ago I discovered something that changed everything. That discovery led me to write a book. Presently, I am just waiting for the right time of its publication. Without the said discovery, you will never find me, because I wouldn't have to bother myself creating accounts more than an email. Well, I am very very sorry of what I did. But I believe that what I have done is the right thing.

Presently, I am working on my projects full time, and that means quiting my job -- and doing so is not easy. This is a daring effort. But I do believe this is what the world wants me to do. Soon, I will be appearing in the public to promote my projects.

Tell Nanay that I will be home when everything is already establihed. I am working very hard at the moment to make my projects a success. If Labason is only a walking distance; then, of course, at this moment I am there already. Insufficient money has also prevented me from visiting right away. Just imagine this: I can't even afford to have my cellphone fixed, how much more in going home. Soon, I will have the money needed, and that will be the time.

Sure, I will call Nanay, your father, and you, too, when I can.

Oh! That's good news that yoyo Ondoy got a position in the municipality of Labason. No doubt, he is already stable financially, good for the family. About Mac Euan, his eldest son, sure! I will try to read his blogs soon.

I can still recognize your face even though you are grown up already. Anang (my niece), too, she is still beautiful with her age; while Manang Lucy (your mother) is still looking young even these days. But Manong Dodong (my eldest brother), his face seems different to me. Perhaps due to the position of his face. With his chin up and head thrown backwards, it obscured some details of his face. In person, there might be a change but just minimal I think-- he is still identical to my brother of long ago. Thanks for sending me those lovely pictures.

You are asking my story. I have a short story written in Tagalog; you can view it at http://hereisataletotell.blogspot.com/2009/09/miracle-happens-everyday.html

One thing more, I got a problem with family relationship that I don't even know the calling addressed to the different stages of consanguinity correctly. This was brought to my attention when I am trying to replace the name Anang (a Cebuano term which reffered to my father's sister). First, the word "niece" pops into my head; but I want to be sure; so I got my French dictionary where I know the details has been fully illustrated with pictures. Just a few flipped of the pages I got to the section labeled "la famille." Then I looked for the word uncle which I know, beside it was labeled "Aunt." There I know I was wrong. And now, what is niece means. After scanning almost the whole diagram, near the end part, I found "niece" beside "nephew." Then, again, I know I made another mistake, because I called you my nephew, instead of niece -- what the hell is that! I better edit all those entries very soon. Very sorry. You should have told me about it.

Re: surprised

I think i do have a picture of uyang [my mother] too! but i have to scan it first, i forgot what are the file name of the folder containing it.  tomorrow, is Tuesday! we don't have class!  I don't have my own connection that's why i am dependent on the comp at school.

hehehehe, the truth is!  at a quick glance! you and papa, you two looks like! But if we have to compare, ya it just a resemblance.

ooooooohm, papa called me a couple of hours! Asking me confirming if i really talk with my uncle Oloy [my neckname in the province]!  of course I answered yes!  Lots of question, he thrown to me....  I think it is good that you answer it.  and I do hope that you can a receive a message from your cellphone, even if you cannot be reach.

my uyang [my mother] was preparing herself, hoping that one day you will call her.

everyone was surprised about the news, they even don't believe that we really talk, but of course just a messages.

i told them especially my papa, that i was not kidding, i am already 33 years old! hahahhaha.

you know uncle, theres a lot of things that was happened in labason, me, and the whole family, since you were leaving.  but i dont know either, how or where i start to tell you!

may be this coming Wednesday i can furnish you a copy of uyang mobile number!  very funny thinking that, this day!  Uyang was practicing how to use her cellphone, she knew how to answer, but she liked to know how to call you!  really she missed and love you......

there is now an electricity connecting to uyang new lovely house, waiting when you get home.

my sister Lea, was in there in Manila!

Lots things to tell, hahahhahahaha

yoyo Onyeng [my brother] and Yaya quina [my sister-in-law] were separated!  Yoyo was left alone in there small house at the boondocks [a plural exagerated spelling of the pilipino word "bundok," meaning mountain]... while yaya, was may or may not your neighbor.

so much gossip to tell,

but i forgot some of it......

till next time,

Lovely and humorous me,

Here's my response:

Ha ha ha ha! I have a good laugh at your story. Really funny....I can't imagine my Nanay (mother) is now using a cellphone -- she is becoming high-tech, too -- very exciting indeed.

Yes, people would really be shocked with the news of this unexpected communication, because even me myself feels the same way. But who are these people you are talking about.

You said, my brother Onyeng is living on the mountain. I guess, still in that same location where the old house was. Well, it's a good place. Very quite, and it's overlooking the high way -- offering a wide view on the surroundings. I still have memories on that place, when I was still very young.

I am just curious what could be the first question your papa asked you when he learned about me. Can you tell me?

I am losing my Cebuano vocabulary already these days. So, talking is a little bit of a problem I think; I might not be able to find the word right away. But, anyway, I think I can manage. Tell Nanay (my mother) that I will call or text her whenever I can, just provide me the number.

What about Yoyo Ondoy (my other brother), how is he?

Lastly, I want to know where are you studying? Keep on striving! It's a good idea to always look for knowledge.

Your Uncle,
Oloy

Government aid -- too difficult! Why?

Below is the content of my email sent to Malacañang's DSWD Secretary, Sec. Esperanza I. Cabral, M.D.:

Dec. 09, 2009

SEC. ESPERANZA I. CABRAL
DSWD MALACAÑANG

Dear Ma'am Cabral,

Good day to you.

The field staff of DSWD Legarda whom I complained about came to my place last Saturday, unfortunately, I was not there, so she left a message. I called her today, Monday, Nov. 07, 2009, but I was disheartened to hear that aid, according to her, is not possible this month until May of the next year -- that means all government programs are already closed for clients within this span of time. What is worst, is that, she didn't even have a wish to come and see my exhibit anymore, but I insisted despite her saying that coming to my place will not change anything. Her statement is just like saying, What's the use of coming there! Anyway, I am glad that, finally, she agreed to come to my place on Wednesday, Dec, 09. Truly, I am really very suspicious with her pronouncement. I don't believe that the government can't do anything for me now. I filed my application since July, it's already six years; and, until now, I still don't see any positive sign of its approval. On the contrary, I see the likelihood of my application being scrapped at the end. Clearly, this will be due to the government employee's lack of initiative to be of service to others. Please, Ma'am Cabral, direct me to the right person who you think might help me.

SINCERELY YOURS,
MR. ANSELMO MALUGAO

DSWD's visit

Today, December 05, 2009, as I was approaching the gate of my place from a lenthy walk to a Public Library, seeing me, my neighboor turned immediately towards me to tell about the visit of the Department of Social Welfare and Developement (DSWD). She then directed my attention to a piece of paper stucked in an iron wire. I was told, the visitor had been waiting for me before she finally decided to leave a note:

5th Dec. 2009,

Mr. Malugao,

This is the second time I visited your Exhibit but you're always not around. You can call me on Monday December 7, 2009. (at Livelihood Unit - 734-86-54)
God Bless....

Judith R. [Medianista?]

If she had only been willing to help, she could easily have done this thing before even without the prodding from her superiors.

NOTE: When I made that call, I heard something disastrous that I was again very upset. To clear the matter of any misinformation I sent Secretary Cabral of DSWD Malacanang an email hoping she can do something.
